Eyewitness: The Road that Turns Us Around

Text: Luke 24:13

Jesus meets us at the point of our disappointment.

Psalm 34:17-18 | The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. 18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The turn around begins with Scripture.

“Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”

Turn around happens in intimacy.

When Jesus shows up, you can't keep walking the same way.

Jesus still walks our road.
